Despite the backdoor flush coming in, Duong led right out for 200,000. Schultz tanked for a while before asking Duong how much more he had behind. It was about 350,000 or so, and after another minute or so in the tank, Schultz shoved. Duong seemed to be in disbelief by the shove, but he ended up making the call with [6s][3s] for a straight. It was no good though, as Schultz tabled [Kd][3d] for a flush.
Duong will take home $29,810 for his efforts, but the night belongs to Matt Schultz, who takes down his second Remington trophy in as many weeks! Schultz will take home $42,500, upping his total earnings in this series to over six figures. Congratulations again to Matt Schultz for winning this tough final table, and thanks to everyone who played in the event!
