It was almost like the bubble hand of this Main Event was scripted by a Hollywood writer. Alon Yehudai got his stack of about 150,000 in the middle holding [Ac][Ad], and he was in prime position for a double up against the [Kc][Kd] of David Farber. The two players had to wait a few minutes while the rest of the tables wrapped up, ratcheting up the tension even more.
Eventually, the dealer laid out a flop that spread like this: [Qh]....[Qs]....[Kh]. The whole table let out a collective groan, as did many of the people on the rail watching the hand. Yehudai needed an ace and an ace only to win the hand now, but the board completed [2h] and [5d].
With that, Alon Yehudai bubbles the Main Event, while the 63 remaining players are all in the money!
