SCPC Day 4 qualifier John Hulett was just eliminated for the final table. We weren't able to get the hand details, but if I were to guess, it probably went like this....
John limps the button with AsKs hoping to trap the big blind of Scott with the big hand. Scott checks his option however, and they both see a flop of AhAcKh. Excited about flopping the nuts, John checks behind hoping to get the chips in later. The Qh on the turn feels like a good card for John. Scott checks, John bets, Scott raises, and John pushes all in only to see the Jh10h of Scott for the Royal Flush. A truly horrible beat. The meaningless Ad on the river is of no consolation, and John Hulett has been eliminated in 7th place.
