The last of three starting flights for the 2014 Los Angeles Poker Open Main Event is now underway! Yesterday saw 21 players emerge from the starting field of of 143 players, with Larry Quang leading the way with a stack of 277,500. Those 21 will combine with the first flight's 19 and the survivors from today's flight to form the final group of players on Sunday, where someone will be walking home with at least $125,000!
Registration is open until 5:30 PM today, so you have plenty of time to come on down and take your shot! $1,600 will get you 20,000 in chips, and all of the levels today will be 40 minutes long. This time table will continue on Sunday until we reach the money, when the levels will be increased to one hour long.
